My Role
As the manager of the Systems Development Group in the Game Department, I am involved in web game development for smartphones and game development for smartphone applications using Unity.
Currently, I mainly develop new games for smartphones, but I also provide technical support to solve internal issues.
Generally, I do both server-side and client-side tasks, so I use PHP for server-side development, C# for client-side development in Unity, and JavaScript for web development, depending on the project.

What I Like About My Job
I never thought I'd end up making games for a living, but new technologies and tools are being born every minute and it gives me the feeling that I'm at the forefront of technology.
Also, since I can see the reaction of users immediately after release, I can see the fruits of my labor being appreciated, and also quickly find out what needs to be improved upon, and implement that in future projects.
After I've resolved issues with the game and users send me messages thanking me it feels really good and I just get this feeling like, "Ahhh, I'm so happy I was able to help."

What Kind of Company is ULTIMEDIA? What Are Its Appeals?
Decision making at ULTIMEDIA is fast-paced. If someone says “I want this done in this way” the response is almost an instant, “alright, let’s get on it!” and there’s no unnecessary bureaucracy taking place.
Also, if I say something like "I want to try implementing these technologies," I'll be put in charge of a project focused on doing just that, which gives me confidence as an engineer by giving me a chance to showcase my abilities.
Bouncing ideas off of one another is ingrained in our company culture, and because of this, regardless of whether you're a designer or an engineer, you can feel a sense of unity in a team.

I want to develop ULTIMEDIA into a company with the same level of technical competence as major enterprises.
To achieve that, I want to support the growth of the next generation of engineers and lay the foundation of ULTIMEDIA while at the same time growing as an engineer.
